DR. Amir Ebrahimi
Amir Ebrahimi received the B.Sc. in electrical and electronic engineering in 2008 and the M.Sc. in microelectronics with first class honours in 2011. In 2012, he was awarded an International Postgraduate Scholarship (IPRS) and the Australian Postgraduate Award (APA) to pursue PhD in the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, The University of Adelaide. In 2016 he completed the PhD with Dean’s commendation for doctoral thesis excellence with a thesis entitled “Metamaterial-Inspired Structures for Microwave and Terahertz Applications”. He was a visiting research fellow at Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore during 2014–2015 hosted by Prof. Zhongxiang Shen. During his candidature, Dr Ebrahimi received several nationally and internationally competitive scholarships and awards.

In 2016, Dr Ebrahimi joined RMIT University, where he is involved in microwave engineering and RF circuit design for communications and sensing applications.
